Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EC Master Inc. (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

EC Master is an online training platform that provides access to educational resources, including videos, PDFs, templates, and tools. Access may be governed by subscription tiers and a credit-based system that meters usage (e.g., minutes of video viewed). Some resources can be unlocked individually without a subscription.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
• Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared unless your plan explicitly permits multi-user access.
• If you are provisioned access through an organization subdomain, you may only access that organization’s workspace.

4. Subscriptions, Credits, and Billing

• Paid features require an active subscription processed by our payment provider (e.g., Stripe).
• Credits meter access to certain resources (such as video minutes). Credits may be included with a plan or purchased separately.
• Individual items (e.g., a single video or book) may be purchased and unlocked without a subscription when offered.
• All fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated.

5. Previews and Access Controls

• Some resources include a free preview capped by time or pages. When the cap is reached, playback or viewing pauses.
• You may not attempt to bypass metering, remove watermarks, circumvent playback limits, or cache/download restricted media.

6. Availability

We strive for high availability, but outages or maintenance may occur. Features and content availability may vary by plan and region.

7. Acceptable Use

• No unauthorized access, security bypass, or interference with the Service.
• No uploading malware, infringing content, or violating others’ rights.
• No scraping, bulk-downloading, replicating, or redistributing content without permission.

8. Content and Intellectual Property

You retain rights to content you upload. We retain all rights to the platform and learning materials we provide. Unless expressly permitted, content is for your personal or organizational internal training use only and may not be redistributed, resold, or used to train competing models or services.

9. Service Modifications

We may update, change, or discontinue features. We will provide reasonable notice of major changes that materially impact your subscription.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service and all content are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” Educational materials do not constitute professional advice. We make no warranties regarding outcomes, certifications, or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EC Master Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages. Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by your Tenant in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your Tenant for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your access will cease. Data may be deleted after a retention period unless we are legally required to retain it.

13. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Province of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in the courts of the Province of British Columbia, located in Vancouver.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
